Kids groups
Child - Adult -group 1
The group takes children that are 1-2 years old and participating with an adult. The children can enjoy music, play and dance together with own mon, dad or for example with grandparent. The class takes a half an hour and it has been especially built to children in the specific age. The instructor is Emmi Saarinen. The group offers fun and playful family time!
Child-Adult -group 2
The group takes children that are 3-4 years old and participating with an adult. The children can enjoy music, play and dance together with own mon, dad or for example with grandparent. The class takes a half an hour and it has been especially built to children in the specific age. The instructor is Mari Kangasmäki. The group offers fun and playful family time!
Children's DanceStar -group
Children's DanceStar -group instructor is Emma Vikman. Kids that are 5-6 year old are welcome to join the group. Ballroom basic steps and rhythm are learned though play and fun as introduction to ballroom dancing. The group learns from two to three choreographs during the year which will be performed to public audience in clubs own event.
Children's DanceDiamond -group
Children's DanceDiamond -group instructors is Emmi Saarinen. Kids that are 7-9 year old are welcome to join the group. Ballroom basic steps and rhythm are learned though play and fun as introduction to ballroom dancing. The group learns from three to four choreographs during the year which will be performed to public audience in clubs own event.
Boys Club
Boys Club -group is a new fun group for boys 5-8 year old. Instructor Emma Vikman is experiences dancer, instructor and choreographer. This group will be fast and energetic so that boys can enjoy dancing together fun choreographs with a hint of humor. The main choreograph will be presented in an annual show.
Children's Ballroom Beginners -group
Children's ballroom beginners - group is taught by Emmi Saarinen. Kids move on mainly from DanceStar and DanceDiamond -groups to beginners group but also children with no previous background are welcome. The group takes children that are over six years old. During the autumn and spring term four dances are taught: slow walz, quickstep, cha-cha and jive.
Children's Ballroom Advanced -group
Children's ballroom beginners - group is taught by kids head coach Emma Vikman from Kotka. Kids move on mainly from DanceStar -group to beginners group but also children with no previous background are welcome. The group takes children that are over six years old. During the autumn and spring term six dances are taught: slow walz, tango, quickstep, samba, cha-cha and jive.
Latino Show - beginners/intermediate
Emma Vikman is a successful children's Latino show -groups and duos coach. She has coached several groups which have succeeded in competitions. In Autumn we start a new Latino Show -beginners/intermediate group. In this group children learn Latin dances and have fun!
Afterwards, it is possible for children to move on to a competing group or compete as a duo. Latino Show -beginners/intermediate -group is suitable for children aged 7-12 years. Every child who is interested in dancing is welcomed to lessons.
Adults groups
Adults Ballroom beginners
Monday group's instructors for adults ballroom beginners are Mika Laari and Sanna Salu and Tuesday group's instructors for ballroom beginnesr are Rauno and Arja Nurkka. During autumn and spring six dances are taught: slow walz, tango, quickstep,samba, cha-cha and jive. The group does not require previous dancing background or partner.
Adults Ballroom advanced
Instructors for adults ballroom advanced group is Henry Hatakka and Terhi Virkki-Hatakka. Dancers move on from beginners group to advanced group. The target is to improve the dancing technique and learn new choreographies.
Competing adults -group
Dancers can move on this group when they plan to start competing. The main focus area is to practice competition performing and improve technique.
